A mysterious name to describe the ancient tarot cards, consisting of a series of 22 major and 56 minor arcana, better known today as playing cards.
The first series has an aura of secrecy as its figures take up a broad symbolic tradition born between the French Middle Ages and the Italian Renaissance, most likely connected to even earlier memories.
In its universal archetypes, in fact, all human knowledge is concealed, communicating with the individual's unconscious and awakening his most intimate and ancestral part.
In this series of 22 musical arcana, I wanted to transpose this initiatory and philosophical path towards wisdom as in a form of meditation to be played on one's own instrument.
Short, modern and simple pieces, based on the theory of medieval moods, where ancient rhythms and modes created different emotions, to be immersed in sound introspection.
